In response to the “gridlock,” Reed says she thinks it’s positive that Democrats who govern on the basis of democracy have a transparent process. Instead, she says it’s “discussion, deliberation and negotiation.” While no agreement has been reached as of yet, the congresswoman says attitudes will be different when working families have childcare, essential workers are paid a decent salary, there is no lead in water pipes and the climate crisis is handled, among other things, which will come from the $1.75 trillion bill.
