The U.S. Justice Department just filed a lawsuit to block a merger of two publishing giants. German publishing conglomerate Bertelsmann and Penguin Random House is already the largest publisher in this country. Bertelsmann wants to spend $2.2 billion to buy Simon and Schuster from Viacom CBS.
