Attorney Marie Pereira and Albany State University criminal justice professor Dr. James Pratt join “BNC Live” host Tashanea Whitlow to discuss the trial and whether or not a nearly all-white jury can find justice. Pratt says he believes a good outcome is possible if jurors face the facts and analyze the information being presented. As far as whether or not “colorblind justice” can be done in this country, Pereira says she remains hopeful that people who took an oath can set aside their own background, beliefs and prejudices to ensure justice is brought down.
