In the statement to Rolling Stone, Scott’s representative said, “There has been multiple finger-pointing, much of which has been by city officials, who have sent inconsistent messages and have backtracked from original statements.”
Former South African President FW De Klerk apologizes for his role in the apartheid in a video released by his foundation following his death. He stated, “I, without qualification, apologize for the pain and hurt and the indignity and the damage that apartheid has done to Black, Brown and Indians in South Africa.”
