Despite bipartisan support from Democrats and Republicans, state prosecutors, community leaders and two recommendations for clemency from the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board, Julius Jones is still scheduled to die on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m.
He has spent the last 20 years living on death row, as he was convicted of the murder of a white businessman, Paul Howell, a crime he swears he didn’t commit.
Jones’ mother, Madeline Davis-Jones, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss her thoughts about the situation.
