He has spent the last 20 years living on death row after he was convicted of killing white businessman Paul Howell, a crime he has always maintained he didn’t do.
Despite overwhelming evidence pointing to his innocence and two recommendations for clemency from the Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board, Jones is still scheduled to die on Nov. 18 at 4 p.m.
Jones’ lifelong spiritual advisor and close friend, Rev. Keith Jossell, joins Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss what his spirits are as he faces execution.
