A new poll conducted by Daily Kos/Civiqs has tracked attitudes about Black Lives Matter since 2017, and found that more than half of white Americans now oppose the movement.
The poll also shows that overall, 43% of Americans support Black Lives Matter. Meanwhile, 44% of those polled oppose BLM, which is a stark contrast from the 28% of Americans who opposed the movement following Floyd’s murder.
Dr. Melina Abdullah, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Los Angeles, joins Charles Blow on “Prime” to discuss the decline of support for Black Lives Matter.
