12:32Now PlayingOklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has commuted Julius Jones’ sentence and instead gave him life in prison with no chance of parole.
Jones was convicted of first-degree murder in 1999 after a carjacking turned deadly. The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board recommended commuting his sentence due to questions about his innocence.
Michael Williams, an R. Kelly associate, has been sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to setting a car on fire outside the home of one of Kelly’s accusers.
Last June, Williams reportedly poured gasoline around the car in question and ignited it while the victim and her family, including three other adults and two children were inside the house.
