6:08Now Playing“DC Today” host Del Walters says defense attorneys for Gregory and Travis McMichael have tried to paint Ahmaud Arbery as a criminal throughout the entire trial.
Laura Hogue, an attorney for Gregory, even went so far as to criticize Arbery’s toenails. Walters is joined by BNC chief legal correspondent Laura McNeal, who says Hogue’s remarks says a lot about her comfortability and the community of Brunswick. If there is one juror who agrees with Hogue and her claims that Arbery was a “savage,” McNeal and Walters say the trial will likely result in a hung jury, which will prolong the trial beyond Thanksgiving. The BNC team is joined by attorneys Ryan Jones and social justice activist Shane Harris to discuss the latest.
