This visionary artist broke many barriers in the fashion world as his unique style led him to work with big names like rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West.
The son of Ghanaian immigrants, Abloh also founded his own luxury label named “Off-White,” and made history in 2018 by becoming the first Black artistic director of the French fashion house Louis Vuitton.
Robin Givhan, senior critic-at-large at the Washington Post, joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss Abloh’s life and legacy.
