9:16Now PlayingFeminism has been one of the most impactful and important global social movements of the 20th and the 21st centuries.
However, when it comes to acknowledging the lack of diversity within the movement, there is still a lot of work to be done.
With the goal of highlighting that lack of diversity and the importance of intersectionality within the feminist movement, award-winning scholar Kyla Schuller wrote her most recent book, “The Trouble with White Women: A Counterhistory of Feminism.”
Schuller joins Marc Lamont Hill on “Black News Tonight” to discuss why it is important to have diversity in the feminist movement.
All this and more on “Black News Tonight.”
