3:35Now PlayingInvestigators appear to be honing in on the safety doors that failed to close and allowed smoke to spread through a Bronx apartment complex on Sunday.
The fire killed 17 people, including eight children. “BNC Live” host Tashanea Whitlow is joined by correspondent Dray Clark, who says people who live on the top floor of the 120-unit apartment complex are allowed to return on Tuesday. Clark notes that severe smoke inhalation killed each victim, with investigators saying a lot more lives would’ve been saved if the doors worked properly.
