7:41Now PlayingOne candidate is sparking conversation with his run for U.S. Senate by sparking up a blunt filled with marijuana in his first campaign ad.
Gary Chambers, a candidate running for a seat in Louisiana, released the ad today.
“Black people are four times more likely to be arrested for marijuana laws than white people. States waste $3.7 billion enforcing marijuana laws every year. Most of the people police are arresting aren't dealers, but rather people with small amounts of pot. Just like me,” he says in the ad.
Chambers joins Kelly Wright on “The World Tonight” to discuss his platform, and the bold choice for a campaign ad.
All this and more on “The World Tonight.”
