8:06Now PlayingWe now enter into Easter Week — the Resurrection of Christ’s body from the tomb! What does the Theology of the Body help us to understand here? Theology of the Body comes to its glorious climax in the Resurrection of Christ from the dead. Everything hinges on the resurrection of Christ’s body. If Christ was not raised from the dead, St. Paul tells us, our faith is in vain. And John Paul II tells us in the Theology of the Body that, contrary to what we might think, the last word that the body speaks is not death. The final word of the body is new life.
