On our way back to New York we had a 17 hour layover in Kiev. We met up with my friend Nat who I had met while covering the Euro-Maidan protests in Ukraine years ago.
Nat talked to us about her art exhibit and how the space was attacked by a group of Ukrainian Nationalists just over one month ago.
