DESCRIPTION:
I’m here with my parents and we’re discussing how and why I got into trading.
When I was a kid, my grandfather loved to talk about and trade stocks. When I was in high school, I injured my arm and couldn't play tennis for a year … That’s when I decided to try trading.
My parents tried to use their traditional broker but kept blowing all the trades. So out of desperation — and a desire to maintain some family sanity — they decided to give me my bar mitzvah money to trade on my own.
My dad figured I’d lose it all. But I spent so many hours studying the market, reading the news, and taking in everything I could possibly learn. I became obsessed. I even missed my college graduation. All because I just HAD to trade!
I found my passion ... and something I’m really good at. Of course, as with any kind of success, there are haters and loads of BS.
There's actually a rumor that my dad trades for me. That’s pretty comical because my dad doesn’t even know how to trade online. That couldn't be farther from the truth.
And some people think I’m a scam — that I’m pretending to know something about the stock market when I really made my money in the lotto. Come on.
It’s ridiculous! The internet can create some insane, yet amusing, conspiracies.
If people took the time to do their research, they’d know I’m completely transparent. I show EVERYTHING from my trades (including all losses) to my taxes every year. Because in this industry, it's good to be 100% real!
