As a stock trader and teacher, I'm able to travel everywhere. But it's not just about how many places I can go to ... And I've traveled to and have students in over 100 countries.
For me, it's about quality.
My charity, Karmagawa, now has 52 schools in 26 different countries. We have a soccer stadium in Cambodia, we support medical centers in the Philippines, and we support a bunch of animal rescue farms and rescue centers all over the world.
I love it. I’m a confirmed travel addict! But with traveling SO often, a lot of people ask how I deal with jet lag.
Jet lag is psychological. Being careful and focusing on your sleep can help you get over it. It's really not as bad as you might think. You just need to be meticulous. And you gotta want it. I want to travel. I've wanted this my entire life. And I’m so grateful to have the opportunity.
But I'm still trading and teaching.
So, even when I travel, I'm still focused on the U.S. time zones — specifically the Eastern time zone, since that’s where I trade. It seems that no matter where I am, I'm working crazy hours.
It’s not easy. In fact, it can be extremely difficult. But when you want something bad enough, you make it happen. You find a way to adapt.
Where do you travel and where do you long to go? How does jet lag affect you? Drop a comment below and tell me!
