In a 2024 Sunday Sitdown Interview, Catherine O'Hara talked about knowing Gilda Radner while growing up.

Catherine O'Hara realized that she could have a career in show business after her brother brought comedy icon Gilda Radner to her childhood home. Radner, who later went on to star at Saturday Night Live, made O'Hara realize that comedy could be a job. O'Hara later followed in Radner's footsteps at the Second City improv troupe, working with the likes of Eugene Levy, Dan Aykroyd, and Martin Short.
