as posted by the channelWelcome to Crime Watch Daily Updates: We're taking a look back at the murder of Melissa James, an aspiring dancer whose life was cut short when she was Tased and strangled to death with a bathrobe and speaker wire. She also had a lethal dose of morphine in her system and her head was covered with duct tape.
Police found James' body in a burning Jaguar outside Kelly Ryan and Craig Titus' home. Ryan and Titus were a bodybuilder A-list couple if there ever was one, but there was more than meets the eye in this relationship. James lived at Titus and Ryan's home and even had a brief romantic relationship with Titus. James became ready to leave Las Vegas, where she lived with the fitness power couple, but she was killed before she could ever escape.
Kelly was booked in the Nevada Department of Corrections on charges of battery with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily harm and first-degree arson. She was released on parole in 2017. Titus, however, remains incarcerated on second-degree murder, kidnapping, and arson charges. Let's take a look back at the case that sent shockwaves through Las Vegas, the fitness world, and beyond.
