‘Ninja knife’ kills mom who was 9 months pregnant, sister-in-law gets life

In this episode of Crime Watch Daily Updates: Aristeo and Elinor Indico always had each other’s backs growing up. But it wasn’t until Aristeo’s marriage to Ashley that everything started to shift.

Aristeo and his wife Ashley, nine months pregnant, opened their Las Vegas home to Elinor and let her stay with them as she went through some hard times. Then, Aristeo and Ashley asked Elinor to leave because she was acting inappropriately in front of their two children.

In October 2013, a fight between the two women escalated when Elinor took a “ninja knife” and stabbed Ashley — who was days away from giving birth — several times. She and the unborn child both died.

Elinor was sentenced in June 2018 to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years.
