50:59Now PlayingOn April 21, the IOP hosted the Chairman and President of the Export Import Bank, Fred Hochberg, to hear his take on the future of American companies, goods, and services in an increasingly uncertain global economy. Chairman Hochberg examined both the politics and economics behind the bank as well as provide a big picture outlook on manufacturing, jobs, and the American economy. Appointed to the position in 2009 by President Obama, Chairman Hochberg has overseen over $200 billion in export financing in support of more than 1.4 million American jobs. He has also worked closely with Congress to secure two long-term reauthorizations.
