5:19Now PlayingThe Standing Committee on Finance was mandated by the Conference of the Parties (COP) to organize a Forum for the communication and continued exchange of information among bodies and entities dealing with climate change finance. Parties encouraged the Standing Committee on Finance to facilitate the participation of the private sector, financial institutions and academia in the Forum.
The standing committee took this mandate forward and organised its 2017 forum under the topic “Mobilising Finance for Climate-Resilient Infrastructure”. The forum took place in Rabat, Morocco, in September 2017 and benefited from a wide range of views from governments, investors, the private sector and cities.
