COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — When Frances Jones was diagnosed with stage four lung cancer a few weeks before Christmas, her granddaughter had an idea for the perfect gift to help her grandmother through her tough road ahead.
Jones lost her husband four years ago when he died of heart failure. According to her granddaughter Maddie, the loss is something she still hasn’t “truly come back from.” Maddie knew her grandmother would have wanted her late husband by her side.
