As the 22nd minute approached, the crowd rose to pay homage to a teammate who'd passed away. No one would forget the unplanned tribute that unfolded on the field.

In the grief-stricken aftermath following the unbearable loss of his 16-year-old son Casey, Jonathan Taub remembers a dreadful thought racing through his head.

“My greatest fear was that he would be forgotten,” he admitted in a moment of retrospect.

Taub’s family will never be the same following Casey’s death on July 9, which shook the Chappaqua community after his courageous battle with glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
