5:58Now PlayingDuring a kamikaze drone attack on the night of September 5, several UAVs entered Belarusian airspace. Local sources reported that air defense systems were engaged against the drones. The alert for "Shaheds" covered most of Ukraine. During the attack, several drones entered Belarus and were shot down. This isn't the first incident – on August 29, a "Shahed" was already downed in the Republic of Belarus. Belarusians are sharing videos showing a burning kamikaze drone, presumably a "Shahed," falling from the sky over Gomel. Interestingly, the sight is so unfamiliar that some Belarusians speculate it could be a "plane or helicopter" burning – watch the video for more details.
