That’s why I’ve decided to explain the Battle/Siege of Madrid between 1936 & 1939 using animation and original footage I shot in Madrid. To understand the two sides during the Spanish Civil War (the Nationalists and the Republicans), it helps to reduce the conflict down to the city level. I hope having it explained this way is helpful for you! Feedback welcome as always.
