as posted by the channelThe Spanish Civil War is deserving of a complete history. It's a moment when fascism won and democracy imploded. It was a conflict of ideological extremes: monarchists, nationalists and fascists, supplied by Hitler and Mussolini, who rose up against the 2nd Spanish Republic, a coalition of socialists, communists and anarchists, supported by Stalin’s Soviet Union. But instead of a complete history, for this mini documentary, I give some of the reasons I'm passionate about learning about Spain's Civil War, and I try to infect you with that same passion. Hope it works!
