as posted by the channel► PART 2 – Video deposition of Donna Farmer, scientist for Monsanto Co. (now Bayer), as played in the trial of Dewayne “Lee” Johnson v. Monsanto Company. This video deposition was taken on Jan. 12, 2017.
On Aug. 10, 2018, a San Francisco jury returned a verdict ordering Monsanto to pay $39.2 million in compensatory damages and $250 million in punitive damages for failing to warn consumers that exposure to Roundup weed killer causes cancer. The jury unanimously found that Monsanto’s glyphosate-based Roundup weed killer caused Mr. Johnson to develop non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and that Monsanto acted with malice, oppression or fraud and should be punished for its conduct.
