<p>Meet Pervis Taylor; he’s an award winning celebrity life coach, author and speaker. Pervis has a masters in clinical psychology and is passionate about Men’s mental health. He’s been on TV shows, podcasts, talked at universities and schools. The episode was recorded online as he’s based in New York. We talked mental health, and how high suicide rates are for men, this stat isn’t just for America it’s also tragic in Australia with suicide killing more than 8 Aussies a day, 6 of which are men. We talked about fear and control. Pervis opens up about his own traumas that have shaped the man that he’s become today; trigger warning, he talks about being molested as a child and about losing his father to heroine. This man is open, honest, kind and clear. We chat about his most recent book “The Surthrival Mode” and we explore the 4 A’s: acknowledgment, acceptance, articulation and alchemy. And my favourite bit of the interview was about giving your soul a tune-up!
