Summary

Christmas is a time when it’s really easy to over consume and buy things that might get chucked out in a few months. Here’s the cool thing, you get to vote with your dollar when you shop, you can buy local, you can support small businesses and you can look for sustainable pressies that help to look after our wonderful planet. Why not do two good things at once; give a lovely gift that’s also kind to the earth.

Here’s a list of all the things I’ve tried an tested which would make unreal Chrissy pressies fort our loved ones that also help to look after the environment 🎄🎁🦌

NASKIN these are sustainable, biodegradable, 100% natural and vegan face and body pods made from konjac. They’re a gentle exfoliant that I love to use daily. Byron based brand, run by a legend who believes in sustainable beauty.

BOTANICAL GODDESS is the perfect pressie idea for a whimsical friend, these are the prettiest smudge bundles, plush there’s teas, reiki infused bath salts and candles. Keep an eye out for the Christmas wreaths too!

INDIGO LUNA eco-friendly yoga and swimwear. These guys are local in Torquay; they’re very cool, everything is ethically made; they use plant dyes and some of the yoga pants are made from recycled bottles and fishing nets. Also great for boys, Bosso loves the lounge wear!

SEED & SPROUT I’m a huge fan of their “un-plastic wrap” and these guys are all about having “un-plastic Christmas” I love their un-baking paper and fresh food poaches and kitchen eco-brush sets! So if you want to put on an eco-friendly Chrissy spread then these guys are for you!

Books: Here’s three I’m loving: Natural Harry’s new book “Home” is full of DIY recipes for a tox-free zero-waste life. Anita Vandyke’s newest book “A Zero Waste Family in theory days” this book so so easy to read, it’s gentle and easy approach to a zero waste life makes it feel achievable to make these changes. And finally I’m currently reading Matthew McConaughey’s book Greenlights and it’s unreal! He’s such a wonderful story teller, I think anyone would love this book, great gift for under the Chrissy tree!

Follow Lola Berry on Instagram: @yummololaberry

www.lolaberry.com

www.lolacoffee.co

See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

Hosted on Acast.
