Darumbal and Yiman man Trent White has picked up a camera to help First Nation's clans preserve their cultures — one photo at a time.
The former miner aspires to be a trustworthy role model for young Indigenous Australians while providing an opportunity for people to connect with their clan groups.
Darumbal and Torres Strait Islander mother Kayleen Adidi said being photographed in traditional paint was empowering.
The mother-of-four had never considered wearing traditional paint until Mr White gave her the opportunity.
She hopes it will inspire more Indigenous Australians to embrace who they are and where they come from.
Her three-week-old son Jundamarli, joined her for a second photoshoot.
