4:42Now PlayingEmily Slotosch never thought she would drive herself to a job she loves. A small town café has empowered the young woman with a disability to do exactly that. Yeppoon resident Kris Hargrave opened the café to create secure employment for herself and her son Robert, who has a disability. It was an ambitious project for a regional town but the overwhelming community response has allowed the single mum to partner with a disability support service and offer opportunities to people of all abilities. Ms Slotosch is proud to be working at the café and said being "treated right" made her excited to come to work.
