After more than two decades without rain in winter, the heavens have finally opened in parts of WA’s southern rangelands.
Pastoralists say the drought that has crippled the region is not broken, but the rain has brought some respite.
Salt lakes have filled, attracting bird and aquatic life, winter feed has germinated and people on the land feel immense relief.
