CORRECTION: At 04:22 Warren Royal's surname is spelled incorrectly.

Graeme Meade has a vintage bike collection so large he doesn’t know exactly how many are in it, other than to guess it’s between 50 and 100. He has been building it for the last two decades and hopes to display them in a museum in his historic gold mining town of Mt Morgan sometime in the near future.

Occasionally Graeme still gets to show off some of the bikes, when he rides with the ‘Gentlefolk Single-Speed, Fixie and Old Bike Society’ group in Rockhampton. The group is for cycling enthusiast to jump on their ‘oldest bike’ and tour historic sites. It’s for one and all with one simple rule- no lycra.

Produced by Katrina Beavan, ABC Capricornia.
