24:03Now PlayingDemocratic Sen. Dick Durbin said that Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s display of “raw partisanship” in his testimony denying Christine Blasey Ford’s allegation of sexual assault made it impossible for Kavanaugh to assume a neutral position on the Supreme Court.
Durbin also said that Kavanaugh “checks boxes” on President Donald Trump’s “opposition list” and is compliant with the president’s stance on health care, labor, women’s rights and the environment. Kavanaugh’s perceived support in these areas, Durbin said, makes it hard to believe he’ll be an open-minded judge.
