Tim Morrison, a former White House official who served on the National Security Council, testified in a public hearing before the House Intelligence Committee that he did not recall Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman wanting to add the word "Burisma" to the notes of the July 25 call between President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s president, as Vindman has testified. "It was my practice if I believed an edit accurately represented the call, I would accept it," Morrison said, adding, "if it didn't exist in my notes, I wouldn't have made the edits." Morrison said he did hear concerns from Vindman about the call, but also testified that he was alerted to others’ concerns about Vindman’s judgment and the possibility that he might leak information about the call. Morrison testified on Nov. 19 as part of the impeachment inquiry that has centered on the July call.
