Rep. Ted Deutch, D-Fla., defended how Democrats have handled the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump as the House Judiciary Committee marked up the articles of impeachment on Dec.12. “Before telling us the sky is falling and there’s great disrespect for the rules, it’s important to look at the rules,” Deutch said after Rep. Doug Collins, the ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, accused Democrats of trampling on the rights of the committee’s minority. “Facts really do matter,” Deutch added.
