WATCH: Dr. Farhan Bhatti raises concerns on Amy Coney Barrett's Supreme Court confirmation

Farhan Bhatti, a family physician in Lansing, Michigan, testified Oct. 15 in the final day of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Judge Amy Coney Barrett.

Bhatti spoke about the importance of the Affordable Care Act, parts of which are being challenged in upcoming cases before the court. "As a physician who engages with other doctors across the nation, I share the concern that any judge who opposes the ACA endangers a lifeline that my patients count on to stay healthy — and in many cases, to stay alive," Bhatti testified.

The hearing came about three weeks before Election Day. The judge did not appear before the committee on the final day of the hearing. Instead, both Republicans and Democrats called outside witnesses to speak to her record and approach to the law.
