8:02Now PlayingSome conservatives are upset with Donald Trump over the inability to secure the $5 billion in border wall funding that he has been pushing to get. Ann Coulter has been a very vocal critic of not only the border wall funding but also the passage of the FIRST STEP Act. It’s only been two years since Trump has been in office. Things that are bipartisan such as the FIRST STEP Act are much easier to get through than $5 billion in border wall funding which is largely a conservative effort with next to zero Democrat support.
Some are willing to throw the proverbial baby out with the bath water. Going as far as saying that they’ll refuse to vote for him in the upcoming 2020 election. But who would be the better alternative? Beto O’Rourke? Creepy Joe Biden? Or how about an establishment Republican who would never push for serious border wall funding or immigration reform? Patience should be the name of the game here. Or else many conservatives will rue the day they solidified their impatience with a bad decision in the voting process.
