Chloe survived, and is currently on trial in Cherokee County, Georgia, charged with malice m*rder, 2 counts of felony m*rder , aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the first degree. Driver's defense claims her extremist cult beliefs (The 12 Tribes) , polygamist lifestyle (she was one of 3 wives to "Z") coupled with severe mental illness and psychosis, caused her to take Hannah's life to "save her" and command hallucinations ordered her to do it. She has asked the jury to find her Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity.
