5:03Now PlayingGlyn Worsnip reports from the small village of Thruxton in Hampshire, about the one man battle of publican John Sinclair to erect signs directing drivers to his pub 'The George'.
Since the building of a by-pass, the pub no longer has direct access to the road, so Mr Sinclair erected direction signs for his pub on the roadside. These were objected to by the local authority, and he was forced to take them down.
Mr Sinclair however, is undeterred - after several failed attempts, he believes he has hit upon the perfect solution to beat the council bureaucrats: a horse and cart travelling back and forth along the road, carrying his offending direction sign.
