Julian Pettifer reports from Penclawdd in South Wales on the mysterious laverbread, a traditional Welsh dish made from seaweed. Mr and Mrs Brown - whose family have been making laverbread in Wales for four generations - show him how the alleged delicacy is made, before letting him sample some.
Could a bit of canny marketing help Laverbread break out of Wales? If they called it "deep sea spinach" could it crack the US market?
