The title of the book, Crazy Horse, refers to Hughes' nickname - bestowed upon him by Liverpool fans following a memorably ridiculous tackle on Newcastle United winger Albert Bennett.
Crazy Horse is centred around Hughes' relationship with two men - his father, and Liverpool's legendary manager Bill Shankly. Emlyn shares some anecdotes about both men with Russell Harty.
