ಬ್ಲೂಮ್ಬರ್ಗ್ ಫಿಲಾಂತ್ರಪೀಸ್ (Bloomberg Philanthropies) ಬೆಂಬಲದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾಗಿರುವ ಈ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಯೋಜನೆಯು, ಅತೀ ವೇಗದ ಚಾಲನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿಯಂತ್ರಿಸಲು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ದತ್ತಾಂಶ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಇದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಿಕರ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.
Today, Commissioner of Police Shri Seemant Kumar Singh, IPS, handed over 5 advanced laser speed cameras along with comprehensive speed enforcement gear, donated by GRS Partnership, to Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Shri Karthik Reddy, IPS, to launch the Speed Enforcement Taskforce pilot project with Bengaluru Traffic Police . Supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, this initiative aims to implement high-impact, evidence-based interventions and global best practices to effectively address speeding as a critical road safety risk factor.
This marks a significant step towards data-driven enforcement and safer roads for every commuter in Bengaluru.
