The incident took place in the Huanuco Department early Sunday when the bus was headed to Pucallpa from Huanuco.
The bus veered off the road and tumbled down a hillside, falling some 200 meters.
Witnesses said the weather was bad, with heavy rain and poor visibility.
Peruvian National Police and other first responders worked to recover the bodies from the wreckage.
The bus driver escaped with minor injuries.
