1:12Now Playing(AP) British actor Sir Ian McKellen received a coronavirus vaccine on Wednesday as the UK continued its nationwide vaccination rollout program.
The 81-year-old Lord of the Rings star was given the recently approved Pfizer-BioNTech jab at London's Queen Mary's Hospital.
McKellen said that he was "euphoric" to be vaccinated against COVID-19 but said he would continue to wear his mask and social distance.
At least 138,000 Britons were given the vaccine in the first week of the UK's vaccination program, which started earlier in December.
