as posted by the channel

A powerful winter storm has buried New York City in one of its 10 snowiest days on record, with about 600,000 homes and businesses losing power and more than 10,000 flights canceled through Tuesday.

Manhattan's Central Park recorded more than 15 inches of snow from Sunday through Monday, and the nor'easter is expected to continue in New York through Monday afternoon before tapering off.

The storm has disrupted transportation across the Northeast and beyond, with Amtrak suspending service between New York and Boston, and many regional airports closed, including Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip.
