The wording and design of the memorial leave no doubt in the viewer's mind: that they are standing on the very precise ground where a momentous historical event had occurred. Does that star commemorate the place where Crispus Attucks fell? Perhaps it marks the ground where Captain Preston pleaded with those angry crowds?
Or, perhaps it is none of these things, and the event actually took place in a very different location to what the memorial tells us...
