23:24Now PlayingThe ceremony saw the old guard, the Coldstream Guards, relieved of their watch by the Scots Guards. This video is of the entire ceremony, though I did cut out the space between the activity.
In this video you will see the Old Guard (Coldstream) present as a garrison form up, before being met with their bandsmen and the remainder of the Old Guard who paraded from Wellington Barracks nearby. Shortly after, the New Guard (Scots) parade in and form up opposite the Old Guard. The Guards salute each other, their Colours are joined and paraded across the grounds, and the transition takes place. You will see new Sentries posted and given their orders, and finally the Old Guard shall parade off the grounds. After, the New Guard will leave a garrison behind at the Palace, before parading off themselves.
