21:49Now PlayingA BOMBSHELL accusation from INSIDE New York Attorney General Letitia James' own office is exploding into a major political controversy—and now FEDERAL INVESTIGATORS are reportedly involved!
Assistant Attorney General Daniel Wiesenfeld sent an extraordinary agency-wide email alleging that he was instructed to “find and pursue crimes” involving specific people and organizations associated with President Donald Trump.
And the alleged targets weren't insignificant.
🔥 “TRUMP HIMSELF”
🔥 TRUTH SOCIAL
🔥 TRUMP-ASSOCIATED ORGANIZATIONS
🔥 CORPORATE ENTITIES
🔥 THOUSANDS OF NY AG EMPLOYEES RECEIVED THE EMAIL
🔥 EMAIL WAS SUBSEQUENTLY REMOVED
🔥 PROSECUTOR PLACED ON ADMINISTRATIVE LEAVE
And now the story has gotten even BIGGER.
Wiesenfeld reportedly met with FBI and Justice Department investigators for several hours as federal officials examine his allegations.
According to the prosecutor's account, he objected to what he viewed as an effort to identify political targets first and then search for potential crimes.
His message to fellow prosecutors was explosive: don't become personal attorneys targeting political enemies—investigate crimes and THEN identify the people responsible.
If substantiated, those allegations would raise profound questions about prosecutorial independence, government power and politically motivated law enforcement.
But there's another side that must be heard.
Letitia James' office disputes allegations of political targeting and says its investigations are based on facts and law. Her office has characterized the controversy surrounding Wiesenfeld as a personnel matter.
